Type of dive: shore dive Rating for this dive site: 6/10 as a long walk, 8/10 for rock walls, 7/10 for life Parking: space for about six cars but this is a narrow road Boat ramp: none Ease of entry: 6/10 actual entry is ok but its a long walk [Wheel chair access: Not really.] Abundance of life: 7/10 Accommodations: There are several places in Sidney, or even Victoria, that you could find lodging at. Includings Inns, Motels and Bed & Breakfasts Attractions: lots of walls, and depth, some have seen six gill sharks here, but not me. McKenzie Bight is also located near the world famous Bouchard Gardens. Bottom and depth: rocky with some sand, and lots of rock walls Facilities: none Hazards/Obstacles: Sensitivity to tide/current: current and tide are not really a problem here. Safe place to dive during storms that affect Victoria Terrain: rocky, coarse sand between rocks, solid rock walls Tides, transportation and weather: Fisheries and Oceans Canada Tide Page., BC Ferries Schedule and Sailings. , The Weather Network
